ISI is contracted to support the efforts of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Inspector General’s (OIG) in the areas of:

  • space design
  • project and construction management
  • furniture design and procurement
  • relocation management and coordination, and
  • acquisition and oversight of the various components necessary for occupancy, i.e. IT infrastructure, telecommunications, and electronic security.

Since OIG maintains 72 field offices, located in 10 regions across the United States, ISI’s team, manages multiple projects, simultaneously, across OIG’s 72 offices.

ISI’s Project Manager facilitates coordination between the various parties involved in facilities projects, develops project schedules, oversees the delivery of space planning services, tracks and reports on project status, reviews vendor proposals, attends design review and construction meetings, conducts site visits and punch list walkthroughs, oversees
the acquisition and installation of telecommunication and security systems, and participates in relocation management.

The ISI design team helps the various OIG offices develop and refine their space requirements and produces layouts and space plans in support of those requirements. ISI reviews construction drawings to ensure conformance with OIG requirements as well as develops, reviews and finalizes finish schemes. Additionally, ISI has provided direct management oversight on eleven (11) relocations, at six (6) different geographical locations, resulting in the relocation of hundreds of OIG personnel, their furniture and office contents.
